Natalie Meador, MPH, RDN, LDN

Natalie has over 20 years of experience in nutrition and dietetics. Natalie began her clinical career within the Good Health Center in Baltimore, MD where she counseled recent heart attack and stroke survivors in addition to counseling people with diabetes, GI disorders and other general health issues.  Natalie also worked for Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh where she was a valued member of the General Pediatric Medicine Unit, the Pediatric Small Bowel and Liver Transplant Program, Intestinal Care Center and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.

In 2004,  Natalie began to work for the NC Division of Public Health, Nutrition Services Branch as a nutrition consultant.  During the next 8 years, Natalie helped to educate public health nutritionists throughout the state in the areas of pediatric nutrition and maternal health and wellness.  She was a collaborating author for units within the Pediatric Nutrition Course and Maternal Health and Wellness Course. Both of which are offered via on-line through UNC Gillings School of Public Health.  She has also given several presentations for nutritionists, school educators, and child care workers on food allergies.

In 2010, Natalie completed rigorous training and earned a Certificate in Child and Adolescent Weight Management from the Commission of Dietetic Registration.  In 2012, Natalie became the chair of her daughters’ elementary school’s Health and Wellness Committee.  She developed and implemented many new programs and events that promoted healthy eating and fitness.  People started to seek her nutritional expertise and Natalie enjoyed coaching them on how to eat more healthy to promote a lifestyle of wellness.

In 2013,  Natalie started Natalie Meador Nutrition in order to better serve the Triangle area and to help individuals create personalized healthy eating plans that fit their busy lifestyles.  As a mother of two, Natalie understands first hand the challenges of providing healthy meals and snacks to a busy family.  Natalie has the experience, compassion and enthusiasm that will help you be successful on your journey to better health for you and your family.

Natalie currently resides in Cary, NC with her husband and two daughters.  In her spare time she enjoys cooking, hiking, kayaking and Zumba.  Contact her today.
